EXPERIENCE

Experience is awarded for each session you attend and is a way of advancing your character, making them more powerful. Experience points or XP is awarded every session.

XP can be spent on various different things, Disciplines, Traits. For each session attended you can purchase one item with your experience. So if you have enough XP to purchase two items but have spent XP for previous meets you can only purchase one item, even if you have enough for two.

Earning Experience.

Main Friday Meetings

Wednesday Meetings

Character Generation.

Additional XP can be earned over and above the starting points allocation, for a well balanced and extensive background, subject to storyteller discretion.

This does not mean you can write in your favourite Disciplines and be sired by a Methuselah and expect to get them added to your character. It does mean you get to explain any merits, flaws, abilities you have.

The storytellers are fair not stupid. Power gaming your background will be subject to ridicule from the storytellers.

Retiring Characters.

Unspent experience points, influences, goods, chattels , money or status will not be available to carry over to your new characters, in any shape or form. IE: your retiring character will not be able to pass his share of a company onto your new character.

All the stuff you created, earned, pinched, bought, with your character leaves the game with that character. You can’t give it to your mate so he can give it back to your new character.

Please let a storyteller know when you wish to retire a character, as they will be used as an NPC if currently involved in an ongoing plot device.

Spending Experience.

The following is a price guide of items to purchase with XP:

The exception to the above costs are Fortitude, Celerity and Potence which have the number of weeks halved for clan and non clan costs i.e. A Toreador would pay 4XP for the intermediate level of celerity but it could be used on the 3rd week, but if the Intermediate Discipline was non clan, for example fortitude, the cost would be 6XP and could be used on the 5th Week.
